Hungry Talks

RMIT 's student-led television talk show exploring the future of advertising, public relations, media and creative communication.

What is it?

Hungry Talks 2026 is RMIT University's student-led television talk show exploring the future of advertising, public relations, media and creative communication.

This season, For the Love of Humans, asks one of the biggest questions facing our industry: What makes us human in an AI-powered world?

Across 10 episodes, we bring together Australia's leading creative directors, strategists, marketers, founders, journalists and communication professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of creativity, technology, leadership and culture. From artificial intelligence and the creator economy to sustainability, diversity, mental health and the future of work, each conversation is designed to inspire the next generation of creative professionals.

Produced by students from the Advertising Capstone Project of Professional Communication Program in collaboration with Media Screening students at RMIT University, Hungry Talks is more than a TV show, it's a platform connecting industry leaders with emerging talent through authentic conversations and real-world perspectives. Whether you're a student, educator, creative professional or simply curious about where our industry is heading, join us as we explore the ideas, people and possibilities shaping tomorrow.

I lead a team of 14 fellow students, both organisationally and creatively. Within my creative direction role I approve all creative vision on the project. Additionally, I work with the creative department to develop content for the show and promotional material. My project coordinator role includes reaching out to industry experts for guest roles and managing the teams workload and timelines. Additionally I work closely with the media team to ensure the show runs smoothly.

My experience working on
Hungry Talks

Through this ten-episode program, I have learnt so much about myself as a creative and leader. I had the privelege of recruiting guests, which developed my professional communication skills and strengthened my industry connections. Overall, this was an incredible experience any final year student would be privileged to participate in. I am so proud of what this series achieved this year and I hope it continues to grow and expand.
