Sole

I was given the open brief of 'Single-wear clothes'. We had the freedom to create whatever that brief meant to us. So I honed in on the single part of the breif and founded Australia's first individually designed, made and sold running shoe brand for lower-limb amputee runners. Because running fashion should never leave anyone behind. Sole, Make Your Print.

The Brand

Lower‑limb amputees are often overlooked in the running world. Because they run with a blade, they only need one shoe, yet the industry only sells shoes in pairs.

Sole makes lower‑limb amputees specific running shoes, so they never feel left behind.

The logo is static and constantly changes to demonstrate the appreciation of difference the brand promotes. The symbol of a finger print further represents the one of a kind nature of Sole's movement.

This is Sole's customisable shoe designer platform, where you can choose from different shoe shapes, patterns, colours, logos. You then put in your exact foot dimensions, so the shoe is made one of a kind, for just you.

Sole Run Club PR Activation

The Sole Run Club Activation is held on the Tan track alongside the Yarra River. This is the mingle and energise station, where attendees can learn about Sole's movement and fuel up with some running gels and electrolytes.

This is the shoe customiser station, where attendees can design their own Sole shoe and order it at a discounted price or save their design for another day.

To show off their Sole, attendees can get their shoe design screen printed onto a T-Shirt. They are able to complete their run in their new Sole shirts.

Then attendees do their run of the Tan together to show off their Soles and spread awareness for lower-limb amputees. Although this brand is made for single leg amputees, this event is open to all limb loss individuals and supporters, so the biggest societal impact can be made.
